A Balance of Cost and ComfortAs an eco-conscious traveler, I recently revisited Agnes Rooms, drawn by the kind hospitality of its owner, Agnes. The hotel boasts a spacious layout and is conveniently located just a short walk from the beach. My second experience was marred by several practical issues that warrant mention. The accommodations included basic amenities such as free Wi-Fi and air conditioning, but unfortunately, the air conditioning struggled to maintain a comfortable temperature, often hovering around 27°C despite being set at 22°C. the absence of essential kitchen utensils was disappointing; I had to request cookware which should ideally have been provided. While the apartment was clean and well-appointed, the bed slats collapsed not just once, but twice during our stay, raising concerns about the room's maintenance. For its price point, one can find a more consistently maintained accommodation that meets basic expectations of comfort and utility. While the charm of Agnes is undeniable, potential visitors might consider seeking a balance of luxury and reliability elsewhere.
